Amerikano is a distinctive card game hailing from the Rummy family, offering a captivating gameplay experience akin to globally recognized card games such as Contract Rummy and Carioca. It presents players with a dynamic and intellectually stimulating card game that not only entertains but also demands strategic thinking and sharp memory skills.
In Amerikano, players engage with a 106-card pack comprising two decks of 52 cards each along with two Jokers. Each participant is dealt 13 cards with the objective of depleting their hand by forming sets and sequences, a common trait shared with other games in the Rummy genre. Ultimately, the primary goal is to accumulate the fewest points over the course of 13 rounds.
Setting itself apart from its counterparts, Amerikano introduces two defining mechanics:
